We had A great time this year for Christmas. After Opening the Gifts we threw them all in the Camper and Headed to the Lake. We spent the week out there just enjoying our family it was nice. The Boys would live there if we would let them.

New Job!!!

Well Most of you know that i Have been working for Family Haven Now for Nearly 9Yrs. And On Oct. 31 2008 We are no longer with Jobs Its Very Upsetting to have lost a job that helps Pay bills but also that Has a great cause for the community. Domestic Abuse as Well as physical abuse is a very common thing and we need to have the resources to help children and women as well as men have an Advocate to reach out to. So its very Upsetting to me to have this no Longer. Please say prayers that the doors may reopen and that the organization will get the funds needed to provide services.
But also for the last 14 months i have been working for a Nurse Practitioner and I love my Job There but i was offered a job Going back to being a travel Agent, on Dec. 29th..... SO here i am at Boyd's Travel Doing my Thing. And I love it, But there is so much to learn. I have not done this since i Got Pregnant with Matthew and he is now 8yrs old, So i am out of the loop on lots of changes. But i will get the hang of it Im Sure.

School

Well i know most know that Matt and Aaron are now Panthers at North Lamar and They say they are happy. Their are so many new friends they have been meeting. You know as a mom i was worried at first how well they would adapt to a new school, But they are doing great they both have great teachers( helps that we are able to request them at North Lamar). The first six week report cards are out and well both boys were A honor roll. At North Lamar they give # grades in the first grade unlike Aikin so it was neat to praise Aaron for his grades verses A B or C's . We are so proud that God has Given us smart healthy children. WE their dad and I knew that the change was best to avoid personal issues we knew would arise had they stayed at Aikin. We miss some of the staff there but we want to do what we think is best for the boys. It was a long thought out decision to make and agreed with the boys if they were un happy we would let them go back to Paris, so thank you God for giving me boys that are open to change.

Shopping with Addison

Ok today I Decided that i would help Amber out and also win some brownie points with my niece ADDISON JOY! So while Amber had things to do and i was so excited to spend one on one time with this beautiful girl. So what was a day with out getting new shoes, a cheerleader outfit and hello painting of the toe nails. We had so much fun and she was so wore out by the end of the day. After i got the boys from school Addison was in love with Aaron. She Gave him kiss after kiss and kiss. Aaron was wanting a sister by the end of the first hour. And when Amber came to get her Aaron didnt want her to go. We had a great day and want to thank Amber for sharing her JOY with me.

Addison Joy

Well my beautiful niece Addison turned ONE , shes a big girl now. One of the gifts we got her for her birthday was a stroller and she seems to know just what to do with it. I wanted to post this so everyone to wish her a happy birthday too!!!!

Well its hard to believe but yes school is back in session, I cant bare to think that my baby is in the 1st grade and one in 2nd. You know that its hard to say good-bye the first day of school but you know that the show must go one. But i thought i would share some photos from this summer when we went camping we had so much fun the boys got to feed a raccoon by hand and yes i was more scarred then them. And Aaron believed that it kissed his hand. She was pregnant and very thirsty as you Can see in the pic when chicken gave it some fresh bottle water, hard to believe that it could be thirsty with the entire lake in front of her. No good deed goes undone she decided to get in the trash and be sure to make a sure mess. As you will see from the slide show the boys had a mud fight as well. BET YOU CANT THINK OF WHO STARTED IT!!!! (chicken) The first night we were there we had 3 nephews stay with us and as you can tell we had a blast.... Notice in slide show this is the first time in years that i have been in a pic with out a top over my swim suit. WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!! The 3 nephews i had that weekend we had Justin, Chicken's brother's son and my sisters boys Blayce and Vandon you will also notice Gavin her youngest son whom i like to call TATER! ENJOY!!!!

COOL DUDES!!!!!

Well if you have read my friend Katy's blog you would have know that we took the kids to Hawaiian Falls in the Colony in July. The boys have been cmplaining that they havent gone out of town to a water park this summer so My friend Amy and her son Riley decided that we would get out of town; While tellling Katy about it i found out that she too was taking her kido to the same place same day. I want to say we have not taken the boys and well now Izzy together some where in a very long time so i was very excited to do so. We had a blast so i wanted to share some pics of the day. I hope that everyone excuses me for not posting things sooner i have had so much goingon in my life and well that explains it all.....

4th of July Sky

I am posting this pic just to show you all how scared i was on the 4th around 2pm I went to Goody's and after looking at the sky for about 15min. debating if this was a tornado> I remembered i had a camera in the car so i took a pic. This was as the Clouds started to go back in the sky. I was beyond scared that this could complete its form and touch down. People came out of the store worried as well. This was after i had waited so you can only imagin how it looked when it was more pointed at the bottom. I have never seen a tornado in real life but i think that this was close to being one...

big fish little fish

Okay so let me tell ya the boys participated in this fishing thing. And well lets just say that was fun!! No really it was , They had it for kids 16yrs. and younger and there was about 150+ kids that came. After just a few moments of Aaron throwing out his line he began to reel in like he had a 50lb. Catfish on the other end, He kept saying i got one momma i got one. So I go over there and up comes a little tiny fish and i say, Aaron is that your minnow he puts his head to the side and says MOMMA i am fishing with a worm. So i walk over and thereis a fish so small that i was unsure was a fish but Aaron smiled as big as anything and said WEIGH IT IN! So to make a long story short it weighed in at .009 okay for those that dont realize it that is less than 1oz but it won him 1st for littlest fish caught and well as far as matthew he caught biggest fish in the rough fish division, so they both left with some goodies. I wanted a pic of the little fish for aaron but after we put it in the tank another fish ate it... OOPPSS thats not good... But he caught other fish that day so here it is... I am proud to say Aaron thinks hes a pro.....

My husband

Chicken and i have been together for 11 years now and have been married for eight years. We have 2 boys Matt and Aaron and live in paris. We have recently taken the boys to New Mexico to snow board and ski. We then went to vegas in April. We have been enjoying the boys being at an age that were not having to limit what we can do with them. NO DIAPERS NO BOTTLES AND NO NAPS!!!!! Its Been Fun

All about Me

Well lets see. What do you say when the title is all about me . Lol
I am Married to Chicken "Johnny"for 8 years and have been blessed with the best
things in my life, Matthew *7 yrs old* and Aaron *6yrs old*. I have some of the best friends
and most importantly God by my side. I live in Paris where I am employed at Family Haven
now for 9 years and Laura Janes CFNP. "Nurse Practitioner" for 9 months. Thankfully in both jobs I am blessed being a servant to helping others. I also have a dog named Paris who I have had now for 4 1/2 years to whom is stuck more to my hip than my boys. I am blessed and very grateful to have my family.

Friends

I have some of the greatest friends in the world. Some i have been friends with since the early childhood days some since this year.

I have great people in my life to laugh with and share a glass of wine with when you just need some one to talk to. I have Katy to whom I have shared many fun things in life with such as child bareing and boyfriends (not he same ones) but memories. I have been friends with her during many challanges life has taken us through, Death, birth, sorrow and happiness. She is a great person to share a cup of coffee with ( mexican mocha) from Paris Coffee. And i am greatful for our friendship since the sixth grade.

And You Amber well how can i say that this friendship started in a positive way, well for all you reading lets just say by pure LUCK> i have now been friends with Amber for a few years and i have been blessed to be there during her trials of getting pregnant to the delivery of Addison Joy. And now I am watching her baby girl grow to be the beautiful women Amber is.

And a newly added Friend Kim. WEll all we can say is thank God for her cause she keeps me grounded. She is a very great person to vent to and get some of the best advise from. I have enjoyed getting to know her and learn that no matter how beautiful you are on the out side you are even more on the inside.

Ha and for you Tiffany. Well as fate has it Tiff and i were friends when we were just eight and seven we have not seen one another in 20years and by the grace of God I drafted her son Cade to our Soccer team, him and Matt are the same age as she and I were, years ago and we are now laughing that we have pics of us from 20 years ago and today we are taking pics of our boys at the same age. KINDA SCARY!!!

Aaron Kyle

Aaron there is not much to say about this handsome guy except PERFECT! He is 6 years old and he is just wonderful. He is a daddy's boy and he is a lover. When he smiles you cant say no, he is so charming and love able to everyone. he also plays soccer but he really enjoys singing. if you play a song whether its soulja boy to akon this kid hears the lyrics and spits them back out atcha he is so fun to spend time with. This past year he has decided that dancing is what he loves. NO not sissy girl dancing but true hip hop dancing. He has come out of his shell. He is so smart and let me tell ya he hears everything. He is the son that you are thanking god everyday that you were given due to his comfort and compassion in life. He makes friends with a stranger. He may look more like me but he is a true image of his dad. He doesn't mind staying home and just chillin. He just graduated from Kindergarten where i must say he looked good in that cap and gown. He too had great grades all year and perfect attendance. He is enjoying his best friend Logan that he has been in pre-k and Kindergarten with and if i am lucky first grade. IS THERE ANYONE CUTER THAN THIS CHILD? He has a cat named scatchy * that was given before i had him completely declawed* Aaron is the most the definition behind PRIDE!!!

Matthew Ryan

Matthew is a true pride of mine due to the fact that he may look like his dad but boy does he act like me! He has my additude and my personality of being on the go and into every thing. He butts heads with his dad because we are so much a like and that means Stubborn. LOL he is a beautiful person inside and out. He is in to the skateboard style of living with the true meaning of BOY> He is 7 and has his sense of style down to the tee. He loves Soccer and Baseball. He just finished the first Grade where he made A Honor Roll all year! he was perfect attendance and got lots of end of the year awards. His teacher Mrs. Anthony gave the kids an award for her own description on the last day of the year, Where she gave him the COOL DUDE AWARD. She said that he is always the kid the kids thought was cool and loved. She said that he never failed to have his rings and chains on him. He was always Styling. That's Matt alright. He makes me proud and is so easy to love. He never fails to be the tough boy but let me reassure you he is so sensitive at heart. I love Him.....He enjoys Golfing running and riding his four wheeler. He is a PlayStation freak and is truly talented in what he puts his mind to. I am so proud of who he is and what he loves in life. He is a great big brother and friend. WE ARE VERY PROUD OF HIM!!!!

The Boys

The Boys !! Now you might understand the title Meredith Madness.

Okay the truth is their not the madness the whole getting it together is. Who ever thinks being a mom is an easy thing to do has lost their mind. I have the best boys and sometimes i feel like i cant keep it together. Between soccer, base ball, work * 2 Jobs* and being a mom and wife and Friend and cleaning a house and just taking a deep breath. See what i am mean i am worn out just telling you about it. But I will say that who ever said that your children are your paying for your actions as a child lied. I was not the best but i had my moments growing up but let me tell you i was let off the hook with these two. They keep me grounded, at the end of the day if they realize that i haven't completed what i needed to do they still hug me and say I LOVE YOU MOM!!! And truth is who cares is they wore a dirty jersey to the next game *luckily they haven't* or had ice cream for Breakfast * for some reason Bailey G. and Kim M.* frowned at me for, they are happy healthy and full of life. So somewhere in my MADNESS they are ok.
